from your Medical Aid. You are responsible for paying the
account on the day of your appointment at the Clinic and
thereafter submit the claim to
your Medical Aid.
What is Chinese Medicine?
Chinese Medicine is a highly educated, professional medicine
based on clinical observation and rational theory.

The Theory of the Chinese Five Primary Elements:
Metal, Wood,
Water, Fire and Earth.
The Four
Examination: Observation, Odour, Questioning, and Pulse-Taking.
The Eight Principles:
Exterior, Interior, Cold, Heat, Vacuity, Repletion, lastly Yin
and Yan.
Chinese
Medicine evolved approximately 5000 years ago, ancient Chinese
doctors researched, recorded every finding from one dynasty to
another. Each Chinese doctor generation researched the previous
generations finding, checking their data and adding their own new
findings. Chinese medicine is now a
comprehensive
well researched health care system and is widely
recognised in the world as one of the oldest continuous medical
traditions.
The continuous development of
Chinese Medicine
with its proven impressive results, more and more patients
prefer Chinese Medicine due to its accuracy in diagnosis and

In South Africa, the approval of Chinese Medicine Practice
is
subjected since year 2002 under The Allied Health Professions
Council of South Africa. The Chinese Medicine is administered mainly by

and natural herbal medicines supported by Moxibustion, Cupping therapy, Qua-Xa therapy, Fang Xue therapy and Tui Na Therapy.
Chinese Medicine provides its own
Chinese pharmacology by using more

effectiveness into either in liquid form or in tablet form.
Sometimes, the prescribed herbal medicine will be used at the
end of the treatment depending on the patient’s condition. It is
